Goals & Objectives

What We're Working Towards

• Economic Development

Draw out-of-county and out-of-state visitors through events, tourism, and regional attractions which bring new spending into Itawamba County.

• Opportunity for Local Agriculture

Enhance opportunities for local farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses through markets, education, and shared facilities.

• Youth in Agriculture

Foster youth involvement in agriculture through hosting 4-H, FFA, and other programs that give young people a place to compete, learn, and lead.

• A Home for Rural Tradition

Provide a lasting venue for gatherings that celebrate and strengthen our rural traditions from the county fair to the Fourth of July.
